We pick you up from apt- Htl  in Trujillo

*  The temples of the Sun and the Moon, a religious center for the Moche culture, which developed between 100 and 900 AD. The archaeological complex shows the two large pyramids with flat tops, known as huacas

*  We continue up, to the ancient fishing village of Huanchaco for a good lunch based in see food. Huanchaco is of the most famous beaches of Peru, where you can see the traditional fishing boats (caballitos de totora) which are still in use Today.

*  After lunch we continue to Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in America, built by the Chimu and covering an area of about 20 square kilometres.

10:00 AM Pick-up from your hotel in Trujillo’s historic center. We’ll head to the Plaza Mayor of Trujillo for an explanation of its founding, its first inhabitants, and the reasons behind the city’s establishment, as well as a general overview of its architectural history.

Our tour continues towards the Calonge Urquiaga House, an example of the economic prosperity enjoyed by families during the colonial period. This house museum is where the famous Liberator Simón Bolívar stayed and organized the Peruvian War of Independence. It preserves some of Bolívar’s personal belongings and objects of great historical value.

We will walk along Pizarro Street, named after the city’s historical founder, until we reach the House of Emancipation, which was the site of secret meetings for our independence from the Spanish colony in 1820.

Continuing along the same street, we will stop at the Iturregui Palace, belonging to one of the families who contributed to Trujillo’s independence and which now houses the Central Club.

Finally, we will arrive at El Recreo Plaza, where vestiges of the old colonial-era water reservoir can still be seen.

At 12:00 am, we will conclude our tour with lunch at a local restaurant in the historic center or at Casa de Campo Alcor, where we will also enjoy a Marinera dance and Peruvian Paso horse show.
