Day 1: Arrival in Aguas Calientes – Transfer to Machu Picchu |

Hotel Pickup & Transfer: Early morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco and private tourist transfer to the train station (either Poroy or Ollantaytambo, depending on the season/schedule).
Train Journey (Observatory): Board the PeruRail Vistadome Observatory train. Enjoy the stunning views from the panoramic windows and the open-air observation car as you travel through the Sacred Valley towards Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
Bus to Machu Picchu: Arrival in Aguas Calientes and a short bus ride (Consettur) up the mountain to the main entrance of the Inca citadel.
Guided Tour: Guided visit (approx. 2-3 hours) through the magnificent archaeological site of Machu Picchu. Explore key sectors such as the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Plaza, and the Intihuatana, learning about the history and mystery of this world wonder.
Lunch: Enjoy a three-course tourist lunch (appetizer, main course, and dessert) at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes.
Return Journey (Expedition): Board the PeruRail Expedition train back to the original station (Ollantaytambo or Poroy).
Transfer to Cusco: Upon arrival at the train station, a private tourist transfer awaits to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Availability: Your itinerary may vary depending on Machu Picchu ticket availability. We recommend booking in advance, especially during high season (May–October) and holidays.

Carrying walking sticks, umbrellas, parasols, portable seats, tripods, camera or cellphone stabilizers, or any other extension or stabilization element for filming and/or photography.
Drones are prohibited in Machu Picchu.
Entering with animals, except for guide dogs.
Feeding domestic or wild animals.
Entering with any type of aerosols.
Engaging in any type of graffiti.

Fantastic day spent with Dilser!!!

Dilser has excellent English skills and completely helped us understand everything that we had questions about.

Visited Temple of the Moon, lunch in Trujillo, followed by Chan Chan. Not once during the day did we feel rushed or like we were asking too many questions.

I can’t emphasize the quality of this tour - his patience with our questions, knowledge of the historical and archeological processes involved, as well as his local expertise far surpass many other tours we have been on. At times, we felt like we were with a celebrity - he is well known and locals always smile when he comes around.

Highly recommend Dilser and Norte Expedition Tours if you are in the Trujillo and Huanchaco region.

Just had a tour with Dilsar Alfaro Oliva. We visited Chan Chan and the Temple of the Moon. It was a brilliant day. Dilser made the places come alive. His knowledge was extensive and he was incredibly interesting. We would highly recommend having him as a guide.

We had a great time visiting El Brujo and the Museo Cao with Dilser. He's very knowledgeable, with a lot of info for us and very nice to speak slower because my Spanish is so limited. I actually learnt a lot about Peru and I would encourage more travellers to see the north!
