Marcahuamachuco is an archeological site of Pre-Incan ruins in the La Libertad North Region of Peru. Although less well-known than other sites, it is considered significant and has been referred to by archaeologists as "Machu Picchu of the North" and "The Jewel of La Libertad.

Itineraries

Day 1

Driving up to the Northern Mountain

We pick up our clients from hotel o houses in Trujillo previously coordination with the tour company. After a long journey from Trujillo to Huamachuco we arrive in about 5 hours to the beautiful city of Huamachuco. We have a time to walk around the city for climatizing.
Time to relax after a nice long journey.

Day 2

Eden Hot sprihg water and Lakes

We start very early to driving down to Baños del Edén about 1 ½ hora. On the way we stop for your photos and enjoy about the most amazing views and deep cleft. Beautiful fields and high eucalytus trees. We have time to take a walk and relax in Eden hot spring water in private or group hot pool.
In the way back we stop in SAUSACOCHA lagoon, a big lagoon for boating and having a good lunch based in TROUCH fish. After relaxing, it is time to hiking 100 metros to best viewpoint.

Day 3

Marcahuamchuco the Northern Machu Pichu

The adventure starts very early to Marcahuamchuco local remains of Huamachuco culture. Its a large area about 10km. over 3600m. Marcahuamachuco is well know as the northern Macchu pichu. Its is a massive remains with a high stone walls.

Day 4

Return back to trujillo
